Jorge OLIVEIRA is Associate Professor in the School of Psychology and Life Sciences at Lusófona University in Lisbon (ULHT), Portugal. He holds a PhD (2010) in Clinical Neuropsychology from University of Salamanca, Spain. Jorge is also a Clinical Psychologist with advanced specialty in Neuropsychology from the Portuguese Psychologist Association (OPP). As for previous relevant experience, Jorge was the PI for R&D unit of the School of Psychology at ULHT (2013-2015), funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology of Portugal – FCT.

Currently, he is researcher and member of the direction board at HEI-Lab – Digital Human-Environment Interaction Lab, at ULHT. Jorge has several publications in the field of neuropsychology, related to the development and validation of novel virtual reality and serious games procedures for neurocognitive assessment and rehabilitation. Jorge participates in several community research projects with main mental health and rehabilitation institutions in Portugal. Jorge is also one of the founders and the COO at ImmersiveLives.
